Friction Kit

The friction kit is suitable for Key stages 2-6  and shows students the effects of using different surfaces and materials in classroom experiments.  

KITS ARE RENTED ON A TERMLY BASIS AND CAN BE HIRED FOR UP TO 6 WEEKS. ONLY 2 KITS PER SCHOOL AT ANY TIME.

The Kit Contains:

• 10 wooden blocks
• 10 wooden tracks (held by 3 black straps + 2 bungees)
• 10 force meters 0 – 2.5N
• 5 bags of 50 x 2p coins (355g)
• 10 plastic beakers
• 1 Vacuum pump + tube + valved stopper
• 1 tray
• 10 bags of 10 marbles
• 2 round lids
• 1 large diameter plastic cylinder
• 2 small diameter plastic cylinders + base stand
• 1 Teachers’ Notes booklet
