STEMFEST NETZERO SELLS OUT

With two months still to go the North East’s biggest NetZero event, which welcomes over 3,000 pupils is fully booked.

STEMFEST NetZero which takes place over three days in July at St. James’ Park will be welcoming over 100 schools from across the region. The event will give school children the opportunity to explore a future career in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) sectors across a three-day event at the beginning of July at St. James’ Park.

NetZero is high on the UK government’s agenda for achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and we are keen to educate and inspire the next generation on the importance of protecting the climate whilst demonstrating the opportunities that will be available in careers.

“Face to face events is back and in direct response to the growing alternative energy sector in our region, the North East STEM Hub is thrilled to be delivering a face to face and virtual (hybrid) event around the theme of ‘Net Zero’ in partnership with Newcastle United Foundation.”
