This October STEMFest is coming to Sunderland, the highly anticipated science, technology, engineering, and mathematics festival, has once again proven its immense popularity by selling out for school registrations within a remarkable 7 minutes. The event, set to take place 8th – 10th October at the iconic Beacon of Light in Sunderland, promises to be an extraordinary celebration of innovation and learning, connecting education and industry.
The exhibition is focusing on STEM themed zones and growth sectors in the region including, Space, Cyber Security/ Technology, E-Sports/ Sports, Environment/ Energy and Manufacturing. This three-day event, coordinated by the North East STEM Hub, aims to encourage and inspire young people from local schools in the STEM subjects.
North East businesses working in the above sectors are invited to participate in this event as an exhibitor. Exhibitors will deliver fun interactive sessions relating to their industry. Over 3000 young people aged from 9 - 13yrs from the region’s schools are expected to attend the event across the three days, this is an excellent opportunity for businesses to shout about the work they do to their future workforce.
