RTC North STEM team attended The Welding Institute Northumbria Branch on Friday night. Congratulations to Courtney Newton from WD Close and Sons for winning Student of the Year Courtney’s training provider is Newcastle College It was great to see a great turnout with over 120 people attending. Janine Marshall the STEM Contracts Manager was one of the presenters at the dinner. Janine spoke about the skills gap in the North East region and advised how the STEM hub can support the businesses reach out to the talent pipeline they desperately need.
