The General Forces Kit is designed to help KS1 pupils think about forces and their effects. Through playing with the large selection of toys provided in the kit, pupils will not only have fun, but gain firsthand experience of different forces and the effects that these forces can have.
The General Forces kit is ideal for Key Stage 1, and gives the student the opportunity to the different forces through fun activities including:
- Make it move! The effect of pushing and pulling
- Change its shape! The effect of pushing and pulling
- Why does it fall? The effect of gravity
- Why does it stop moving? The effect of friction
- What makes it move? Identifying the forces causing movement
