EQUIPMENT
- Something you can take apart safely e.g. pen – see what you have in your house
- Piece of paper
- Internet for research
METHOD
- Very carefully take the object apart, keeping all of the bits safe.
- Once you’ve taken it apart, carefully draw all of the pieces on you paper.
- Use the internet to label and annotate each of the bits to say what they are made of, what they do and why they are important for that object to work.
THE SCIENCE
We’re all using equipment everyday, however we often aren’t familiar with what they’re made of or how they work. This will give you a opportunity to find out what is inside and what is happening with your chosen object.
